• BA MODERN AND CONTEMPORARY HISTORY - Bangor University

This course provides the opportunity to study British, European and American history from the modern period to the present day. Through the topics studied you will learn how to examine contemporary issues in their historical context, exploring the development of modern society and politics. You will delve deeper into more specialised topics, such as Nazi Germany or the Cold War. The essential skills of analysis, argument and communication acquired are highly valued by employers.


Academic Reqirements
Academic Reqirements Academic Requirement Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum 2:2 equivalent Students with a study gap of 2 years or more will be required to provide two letters of recommendation (i.e. One Academic Reference and one employer reference) English Requirement 70% in English for all Central and State Boards (except Punjab State Board) and a Medium of Instruction Letter (MOI) from within 2 years of graduation. For students from Punjab, IELTS is mandatory. If study gap is 2 years or more, IELTS and two letters of recommendation will be required (One Academic and One Employer)
